Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated
Who this applies to
This policy applies to everyone who uses Stebly in a customer's workspace, and to everyone who uses this website. Each customer is responsible for how its users use Stebly.
Messages you send from Stebly
When you send WhatsApp messages or broadcasts, or any other message from Stebly, send them only to people who asked to hear from you or who already do business with you, and never to bought, borrowed or scraped lists. Make it easy to opt out, honour every opt-out at once (Stebly keeps opt-outs for broadcasts), and say clearly who is sending. Follow WhatsApp's business policies and India's rules on commercial messages.
What is not allowed
- Anything illegal, or helping someone else do something illegal.
- Malware, phishing, or links meant to trick people.
- Personal data of others that you have no right to hold or use.
- Content that copies someone else's work, brand or design without permission.
- Threats, harassment, or hateful or obscene content.
- Trying to get into another account, testing Stebly for weaknesses without our written consent, or loading it so heavily that others are affected.
- Sharing logins, or reselling or renting out access, without our written agreement.
- Pretending to be someone else, or hiding who you are to mislead people.
Reporting misuse
Write to hello@stebly.com with what happened, where you saw it (a link, a screenshot or the sender's number) and how we can reach you. We look into every report, though we may not be able to tell you the outcome.
Complaints about copyright or trademarks
If something on this site or in Stebly infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights, write to hello@stebly.com with:
- your name and contact details, and whether you act for the owner of the rights;
- the work or the mark you hold rights in;
- where the material is: a link, or a clear description;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not allowed;
- a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are entitled to make it, with your signature (a typed full name is enough).
We review every complaint, may remove or block the material, and tell the person concerned, who can reply to us. We close the accounts of people who infringe again and again.
What we may do
If a user breaks this policy, we may warn the customer, remove the content, pause features such as broadcasts, or suspend the account, and tell the authorities where the law requires. We act in proportion and, where we can, give notice first.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
